Version 2.0.3 of the Edge Client for Android devices is now available. The download is available from the app store for your device. Please refer to the BIG-IP Edge Apps Client Compatibility Matrix to determine what app versions and hotfix versions are required for support with your BIG-IP version.

ID Number Description
379923 The administrator can now enforce device locking with Android Edge Client devices. The setting Enforce Device Lock is now enabled in the Connectivity Profile Security settings. Administrators can now enforce the device lock device lock method, minimum password length and maximum inactivity timeout. The Edge Client user must allow Edge Client to manage device lock settings when establishing a connection, by accepting a confirmation dialog.
382230 The Android Edge Client can now be provisioned with AirWatch MDM.
401354 The access policy can now detect a rooted device.

Fixes in 2.0.3

ID Number Description
384829, 403087, 405845, 412477 Some previous errors with SSL were corrected.
386033 Previously, when the Edge Client was connected to a network access tunnel over DTLS, the tunnel details incorectly displayed TLS/SSL instead of DTLS. Now the tunnel displays DTLS and the correct DTLS version.
397128 Previously, tab characters in the password field were incorrectly URL-encoded. Now such characters are correctly URL-encoded.
400250 Previously, Edge Client for Android did not attempt to reconnect after a DTLS tunnel failed. Now, Android client attempts to reconnect after a DTLS tunnel fails.
405433, 422644 In a previous version, client certificate authentication failed with web logon mode on Android 4.2 devices. Now Android 4.2 devices can use web logon mode with client certificate authentication.
414173 The Edge Client for Android has been updated to send the correct user-agent string.
419100 Previously, the username was required when creating a server from a URL scheme. Now, you can create a server from a URL without supplying the username.
