About AFM Network Firewall

What is AFM Network Firewall?

BIG-IP AFM Network Firewall is one of three AFM core features that uses industry standard firewall policies and rules to protect data centers from layer 3 and layer 4 network attacks. Firewall policies are used to control network access using criteria such as IP address, service port, time of day and day of week. You can also apply iRules to firewall policies, extending firewall rule logic. Finally, you can enable logging and reporting to capture detailed information about firewall events.
