With the release of the BIG-IP APM and Edge Gateway version 11.0.0, F5 is announcing the End of Sale of the FirePass product line, including the appliances, VEs, user licenses and accessories, effective October 1, 2012. F5 is providing advanced product notification to customers and partners announcing the intent to retire the products listed below:

Technical Support
F5 maintains generous lifecycle policies that allow customers to enjoy many years of both support and new software releases. Customers whose platforms are designated EoL and who are currently under maintenance contracts will continue to receive technical support until the expiration of the service contract renewal date. Customers are encouraged to upgrade their systems before the Service Contract Renewal date expires.

FirePass customers requiring migration assistance can leverage the F5 Professional Services FirePass to APM Migration service which reviews an existing FirePass configuration and migrates remote access functionality to the BIG-IP APM product.
