Features and enhancements in 2.0.5

ID Number Description
457325 Edge Client now supports the ability for IBM MaaS360 Mobile Device Management 5.0 to configure and enable Edge Client for secure connectivity.
428089 A user can now hide the Edge Client UI when a connection has been successfully established.
462111 Previously, if a user types a user name in the configuration user name field, Edge Client uses a two-factor authentication that consists of a certificate as well as a user name and password combination. Now, the user can configure a certificate-only authentication without a user name and password by adding a certificate to the configuration while leaving the user name field empty.

Fixes in 2.0.5

ID Number Description
426900 Edge Client does not use the password provided in the URL with syntax "f5edgeclient://start". Previously, a user is asked to enter credentials even when they are already specified in the URL. Now, if the user name and password are specified in the f5edgeclient://start URL, they will be used for authentication.

Known issues in 2.0.5

ID Number Description
472747 The Samsung keyboard auto-spacing feature on certain Samsung devices installed with Android 4.4 can cause a problem with Web Logon authentication if a password string contains punctuation marks. Newer Android builds, such as 4.4.2, do not have this issue. To work around this issue, disable the auto-spacing feature in the Samsung keyboard settings. Authentication with a client certificate is not currently supported in Web Logon mode with Android 4.4.
